Design and Printing of Your Own Tickets Has Never Been Easier!

Choose from twelve resident fonts and seven resident bar codes, or design and print your own fonts and logos. Rotate and expand characters as you wish. Use the line and box drawing capability and dot-addressable graphics to further enhance the appearance of your tickets. The command language is extremely simple to use, and the printer controller is compatible with application software written for popular industry standards. The pETX can be mainframe or PC driven via parallel Centronics and serial RS232C ports.

Choose A Printer To Match Your Needs

The pETX will print at 200 DPI and accommodate l inch, 2 inch or 3 1/4 inch wide fanfold or roll stock, using internal or external feed. Ticket length is variable from 2 inches minimum to lO.l inches maximum at 200 DPI (20.2 inches maximum in 100 DPI emulation mode). Typical standard lengths are 2, 4 and 5.5 inches.

Outstanding Reliability

Best of all, you can rely on the pETX for long, hassle-free operation. Visual and audible alarms are built in. Rugged construction enables the pETX to withstand rough, real-world conditions.

Direct thermal technology, an integral ticket cutter, and a design philosophy founded on system simplification significantly reduces the number of moving parts. Overall reliability has been enhanced through the use of advanced programmable gate array technology to minimize component count. pETX Model modular design leads to further improvements in reliability and servicing ease. The plug-in thick film print head, (typical life of 500,000 tickets) can be replaced in seconds without tools and adjustments.

Extensive built-in diagnostics and the ability to use the front panel switches to change the functions of the DIP switches (EEPROM) simplifies field maintenance and system set-up.

Windows™ Compatible Driver

The pETX is also supported by an available Windows compatible driver. This unique driver is designed to take advantage of the flexibility and easy programming features of Windows™ including True Type fonts and graphics.

The Model pETX

The Model pETX is designed for in-counter vertical panel mounting. The operating controls are located behind the panel. An integral cutter is standard. A cut ticket retainer vertically stacks and holds multiple tickets. With no tickets present in the retainer, a gravity actuated door closes, preventing debris from falling into the mechanism.
